"We are extremely pleased with our son’s settling-in period to Foxton Preschool. The staff are caring, supportive and friendly. They have supported our son with this transition and offered him a space away from home which he finds safe and fun.
The staff communicate well and are always available for a discussion, no matter how small. In regards to my son’s development, we appreciate all the staff have done to encourage his potty training - this has been successful at reinforcing the potty training out and about, as well as at home. We have also noticed how much our son’s speech has advanced since starting preschool and how staff are always supporting his use of sentences.
Lastly, we have noticed how the preschool has really worked hard to reintroduce itself as part of the wider community. As a family who live in the village, we love seeing this and attending preschool events which introduce us to other families in the village."

"My daughter, attends Foxton Preschool 5 days a week. She thoroughly enjoys her time there and has a great bond with all staff, particularly Kelly who she looks forward to seeing every day. She was initially attending two preschool settings but was so much happier at Foxton that I decided to enrol her there full time. [Child's name] has bouts of quite severe eczema and staff have always been accommodating with any medication she needs to be given or creams that need to be applied throughout the day. [Child's name] always comes home with amazing creations, and tells me all about different songs or stories they have been reading. I would highly recommend the preschool to other parents in the area."

"I am a Foxton based childminder who has worked alongside the Preschool for 12 years. We often share the care of children with us currently sharing the care of a child Tuesday - Thursdays. I drop the child off to preschool at 9am and collect the child at 3pm, providing the wrap around for the child and parents.
The Preschool team and I share an open and honest relationship where we pass onto each other how the child has been, and upsets or messages to and from the parents as well as daily reports about the child's asthma and the use of their inhaler.
When I had an issue with an aspect of the child's behaviour, I spoke to the Preschool team and we worked out some solutions to support the behaviour at both settings. We regularly have a quick conversation as to what we are working on to ensure the child gets the most out of being at both settings.
I will be working alongside the team next year with two more children and I know that together we will provide the best care for these children."
